In recognition of National First Responder Day, the Levelland Breakfast Rotary Club and Great Western Dining Services will host an appreciation luncheon Oct. 28 for law enforcement, fire department, emergency medical services and other local first responders.
“We want to thank all our local and county first responders who do an amazing job providing safety and security for our community,” said Albert Garcia, Breakfast Rotary Club president. “We are excited to partner with Great Western Dining at SPC to provide a hamburger and hotdog lunch for these community servants.”
Garcia said invitation flyers have been sent to local law enforcement, fire and EMS agencies for the appreciation lunch that will take place at the Levelland Fire Department from 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 28.
“October 28 is National First Responder Day,” said Garcia. “Our Rotary Club will also be running our Community Flag Service that day, so we will also be honoring our first responders by flying American flags across the city.”
First responders may drop by the Levelland Fire Department during the serving time for dine-in plates or carry-out.
