The Levelland Police Department celebrated the accomplishments, hard work, and dedication of its team during our Annual Police Banquet recognizing the 2025 year.
The Texas Municipal Police Association provided the meal and door prizes. Supporters included Dana Safety Supply, BlueLayer, ProForce Law Enforcement, Touch of Heaven, and The Wallace Theater.
Major award recipients included: Officer of the Year – Brian Haralson Dispatcher of the Year – Kirk Bird Top Shot – Caleb Baker Civilian of the Year – Brittany Harrison
Officers recognized for their professional licensing achievements through TCOLE: Sgt. Carrasco – Master Peace Officer License Sgt. Baeza – Advanced Peace Officer License
Officer Painter – Intermediate Peace Officer License Officer Lopez – Master Peace Officer License Officer Nino – Advanced Peace Officer License To wrap up the evening, a few fun awards were presented reflecting the personalities that make Levelland PD such a unique family: Officer Guerrero – “Secret Squirrel Award” whether it is tracking down leads, uncovering something unexpected, or getting involved in the action, she has a talent for always finding police work.
Officer Baker – “Life of the Party Award” because there is never a dull moment when he is around.
Dispatcher Bird – “Chief of Chaos Award” for expertly handling (and sometimes creating) all things chaos.
Sgt. Haralson – “Stir Stick Award” for always knowing what is going on around the department.
Det. Brown – “Sunshine Award” for always bringing positivity and a smile.
Captain Lopez – “Cheerleader Award” for always being the loudest supporter of all things Levelland PD.
