Petticoats on the Prairie coming to Mallet The Petticoats on the Prairie premier vintage market will be returning to the Mallet Event Center on Oct. 17-18 for two days of unique shopping. Friday hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The annual event will feature about 80 vendors offering vintage and repurposed western art, furniture, boutiques, holiday décor, antiques, jewelry, handmade goods, gourmet treats, clothing, arts and crafts, and many other great items.
The Petticoats on the Prairie Vintage Market is a traveling Texas market founded in 2010 featuring furniture, home decor, and other “cool junk”. The market’s name reflects its theme, with the “Prairie” part indicating its Texan roots and focus on farmhouse and western aesthetics. The purpose is to create a special shopping experience where attendees can discover nostalgic treasures and interesting finds from various vendors. Admission is $6 and children 12 and under are free.
