The annual Salvation Army Red Kettle season will be kickingoff this year beginning Tuesday, November 29 through Thursday, December 15.
Bell ringers will be ringing on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays at Walmart, with nine days to choose from to volunteer.
Bell ringing is a fairly short and an easy commitment with one hour shifts.
Students under 14 years of age will need to ring with an older student or adult.
Group volunteers can reserve slot(s) to man a Red Kettle once volunteers are committed.

The Salvation Army is a Christian based organization and serves hundreds of people in need each year in Hockley County.
The money raised in Hockley County remains in Hockley County to assist those who need it most.
All services and programs are provided at no cost to those in need.
Services and programs provided include: --Rental Assistance; --Utility Assistance; -- Overnight/ Short- Term Hotel Stay Provision; --Summer Camp; --Disaster Assistance; --Clothing Assistance; and --Christmas Assistance. Levelland’s brand new Salvation Army Family Store has gently used clothing, household items and furniture, located at 1507 Avenue H.
Store hours of operation are: Tuesday and Thursday from 1:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.; and Wednesday and Saturday from 10 a.m to 3 p.m.
Donations are accepted during hours of operation.
Donations are also accepted on Mondays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. but shopping is not allowed as workers prepare for the week.
Salvation Army monetary donations can be made at the store with cash, check, debit or credit card any day.
