On Thursday, Santa did the countdown for SPC’s annual Tree Lighting Ceremony at South Plains College at the entrance to the Levelland campus. The ceremony kicked off Levelland’s Festival of Lights and Christmas on the Square. Following the countdown, SPC President Robin Satterwhite, 2024 Miss Caprock Blanca Espinoza of Seminole and retiring SPC Groundskeeper Norma Mendoza screwed in the missing lightbulb into a string of lights.
