TEXAS 4-H ROUND-UP FASHION SHOW

Levelland High School and Hockley County 4-H member Kade Gregory competed at the Texas 4-H Round-up and won first place in the Fashion Show – Special Interest Buying Category with his scuba gear project which included fabrics, materials used in wetsuits along with regulators and buoyancy regulator devices. Additionally, he placed fifth with his Storyboard presentation. Kade's impact extends far beyond competition. He is serving as the Texas 4-H Water Ambassador. He has also established Native Texas wildflower beds on the north side of Levelland High School. One bed, planted last year, is now thriving in full bloom, while a second was added just last week. These native plants provide essential resources for pollinators and helps strengthen the biodiversity of the prairie ecosystem.
