Thunder on the Plains Classic Car Show big success

  • POKER RUN WINNER– AJ and Victoria Hernandez of Levelland, were the big winners of the annual Thunder on the Plains Poker Run held Friday night. The couple took home a $500 cash prize for having 89 poker chip points. Second place winner was DJ and Don Thomas, both received a Thunder on the Plains T-shirt and a dinner voucher for Savannah’s and Swackhammers. There were 100 entries in the 2022 Poker Run. He received a People’s Choice award for his 2013 Hyundai Elantra GT, painted black and yellow stripped with a Batman logo on the hood.
