Trout season at Lobo Lake got underway on Dec. 3.
Rainbow trout stocking dates are Dec. 3 and Feb. 3.
Fishermen should be aware they must follow Texas Parks & Wildife rules for community fishing. A community fishing area is for all public impoundments 75 acres or smaller located within an incorporated city limits or a municipal, city, county or state park.
A fishing license is required for 17 years and older.
The daily bag limit five for all species combined of which only one may be a black bass.
No minimum length limits except black bass which must be 14 inches or greater.
Gear restrictions include fishing by pole and line only, and angler may use no more than two poles while fishing.
