Levelland ISD South Elementary teacher Nancy Southerland was recently installed as state president of Kappa Kappa Iota.Southerland attended the 2026 National Convention, in Charlotte, North Carolina on June 14-18 where she received the VIP award.

LISD school board to hold special meeting

Levelland ISD school board members will be holding a special meeting on Aug. 5 at 5 p.m.The agenda for the meeting includes consideration and approval of the vision and mission and compensation plan.Additionally, there is a budget workshop on the agenda.
