PAR-TEA— South Elementary third graders in Mrs. Gomez’s class enjoyed a writing Par-Tea last Friday. They were challenged to write constructed responses to questions that develop reading, writing, and thinking skills. HTeaO donated the tea for the writing Par-Tea.

SPC enrollment increases for fall 2024

South Plains College’s total enrollment in Fall 2024 increased by 2.6 percent from last fall.On a daily comparison, Fall 2024 enrollment is at 9,098, while Fall 2023 enrollment reached 8,870.The number of dual credit students enrolled at SPC also increased from last fall.

SPC offers fall quilting orientation class

South Plains College will offer another quilting orientation class at 5:30 p.m. on Sept. 17 in Room 121 of the Technical Arts Building on the Levelland campus.During orientation night, there will be three quilts available to view.
