The Levelland Police Department, Hockley County Sheriff’s Office and Department of Public Safety engaged in a vehicle pursuit Thursday afternoon that resulted in a single vehicle wreck in Lubbock County According to reports, the pursuit began in Levelland after the driver of the vehicle fled from LPD officers and drove east into Lubbock County.
The driver of the vehicle eventually crashed near CR 1800 and Woodrow Road. No injuries have been reported. The driver of the vehicle was taken into custody and transported to the Hockley County Jail.
