READY FOR ACTION - The Smyer Volunteer Fire Department recently took inventory of a new fire truck. Designated ENGINE-1, the truck was purchased through a Rural Development Grant through the USDA. With the help of the City of Smyer, Smyer City Council and Mayor Joe Riddle. Fire Chief Chris Bradberry and his crew will be utilizing the new truck as soon as possible.
