ACTIVE SHOOTER TRAINING - In an effort to provide a new Levelland Police officer and a handful of new South Plains College officers active shooter training to bridge the gap before their ALERRT Level One training in the future, the LPD put together an eight-hour active shooter training module to teach the new officers the basics and fundamentals of navigating these type of incidents.
