The Ag Committee and the Levelland Chamber of Commerce will host the Ag Awareness Tour Tuesday, October 31.
The tour is offered to anyone who is interested in witnessing firsthand how the agricultural industry operates within the community. The tour is free to those that participate.
The tour will start with breakfast hosted by South Plains Implement at 7:30 a.m. Tour goers will visit Ag Products, then Depart for HET (former ethanol plant), United Cotton Growers where they will stop at a local cotton field and then break for lunch hosted by Ag Texas Farm Credit.
During the luncheon, Matt McDonald with Levelland Compress and David Drake with South Plains Implement will share insight on how the agricultural industry affects the community.
