Texas AgriLife Extension has an upcoming two-day Food Managers Certification Training Program for Feb. 16 and 17.
Restaurant are required to have a certified food manager on site for all hours they are open.
The training will be conducted from 8:30 a.m. until 5 p.m. both days at the Hockley County Extension Office at 1212 Houston Street. Registration deadline is Friday, Feb. 10.
Cost is $125 per person. Included in the registration is the ANSI-CFP Accredited Certified Profession Food Manager exam and the “Food Safety: It’s Our Business” course book in English or Spanish.
