The News-Press staff would like to offer our prayers to Brownfield ISD and the community of Brownfield for the loss of one of their own.
Our educators are the corner stone of our children’s lives and to have lost one who has been loved by the community of Brownfield and even Levelland is a heartbreaking event.
Our prayers extend to the individuals family and loved ones who had the benefit of being a part of her life.
We all have had educators in our life who had made significant impacts in our lives. Former students and current ones have lost a bit of themselves after this tragic event, but I hope those individuals will remember down the line how great of a mentor she was.
Staff and students had a rough day after the incident Wednesday morning.
I hope the ones shaken by their colleagues and educators passing will receive all the love and help they need. No one should be alone after the passing of someone they cared about in any circumstance.
