The City of Levelland reported $1 million in building permits during the month of August, bringing the total for building permits in 2022 to $14.6 million. In August, the city awarded a total of 73 permits, bringing the total permits for the year to 308. There was one permit issued for a mobile home, two permit issued for a business, four certificates of occupancy and 66 other permits issued. There were no sewer connections, water connections and demolition permits issued for August. This year, there have been 18 demolition permits and seven water connection permits issued.
