The second annual Bobby Contreras Memorial Tournament will be held on Aug. 3, at the Levelland Country Club as a fundraiser for the Levelland Lobo golf program.
Contreras was a life-long Levelland resident who passed away Feb. 3, 2025, after a battle with cancer. He loved to play golf and contributed heavily to the Levelland Lobo and Loboette golf teams as well as the Levelland Country Club.
After his passing, Levelland golfers decided to hold a memorial golf tournament in Contreras’ honor in 2025.
The tournament will be 18 holes, with morning and afternoon tee times. The entrance fee is $500 per team and includes a meal and a mulligan.
There will be hole sponsors available for $200 a hole as well. On hole one, there will be a fundraiser opportunity, and a raffle will be available as well.
