The Levelland City Council has set two special meetings, Monday August 14, at 6 p.m. and Tuesday, August 15 at 6 p.m.
Monday’s meeting will begin with a staff update on the progress of the investigation into the Red Flour Beetles in the Kaufmann Addition.
The council will then go into executive session in accordance with Tex. Gov’t Code §551.074, personnel matters to deliberate the appointment, employment, evaluation, reassignment, duties, discipline, or dismissal of a public officer or employee, city manager.
The group will consider and take necessary action on items related to the executive session.
The meeting will wrap up with a budget work session for the 20232024 Fiscal Year.
Tuesday’s meeting will begin with the group going into a budget work session for the 20232024 Fiscal Year.
The council will convene into executive session in accordance with Tex. Gov’t Code §551.074, personnel matters to deliberate the appointment, employment, evaluation, reassignment, duties, discipline, or dismissal of a public officer or employee, city manager.
The meeting will end with the group considering and taking necessary action on items related to the executive session.
