The City of Levelland will be holding a town hall meeting Monday, November 27 at City Hall.
The purpose of the meeting is to invite community members to discuss the potential ordinance regarding the storage of agricultural commodities.
The original proposed ordinance was tabled in a previous council meetings due to the questions raised by agricultural businesses within the community.
Levelland City Manager James Fisher explained that the meeting will allow community members to look over a draft of the ordinance and voice any concerns or ask additional questions.
Fisher has been adament that a common middle ground will need to be reached between the commmunity and businesses within the area to ensure future events that require the ordinance to be handled appropriately.
