The Hockley County Commissioners’ Court will be holding a special meeting March 11, beginning at 9 a.m. at the Hockley County Courthouse.
Agenda items slated for the meeting include: Read for approval the minutes of the regular meeting held on March 4; Read for approval all monthly bills and claims submitted to the court and dated through March 11; Review and approval of the Chapter 59 Forfeiture Budget submitted by the Hockley County District Attorney; Discussion and potential action to approve the Specific Purpose Contract to be paid with Chapter 59 forfeiture money as requested by the Hockley County District Attorney; Consider and take necessary action to award the bid for the Request for Qualifications for Design-Build Firm for the Hockley County Jail renovation of shower stalls; Consider and take necessary action to approve the Continuation Certificate of Ann Marie Doshier, Hockley County Deputy Tax Assessor; Review the February 2024 fire runs as submitted by the City of Levelland; and Consider and take necessary action to approve Ad Valorem tax refunds.
