Commissioners court sets meeting

The Hockley County Commissioners Court will be holding a regular meeting Monday, December 19 at 9 a.m.

The group will hear an update from the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension office.

An update will be given to the court from Adrian Mendoza of TxDOT and action will be taken afterword to approve the allocation of surplus materials from TxDot for the 2023 County Assistance Program and the participation in the Local Government Assistance Program.

The court will take action to approve the interagency memorandum of understanding between the children’s advocacy center of the south plains and Hockley County for the multi disciplinary team.

The group will consider and take action to approve the state and local government addendum by and between Hockley County and Paramount Leasing.

Action will be taken to approve a tax deed for lot 14, block one, north side addition, to the city of Levelland, including mobile home R17414 to be purchased by Gary Lyon for the amount of $1,500.

The court will discuss and take action to approve the monthly reports due as per local government code as submitted by the Hockley County District Clerk, Hockley County Clerk, County Auditor and Justice of the Peace Precincts one, two, four and five.
