The Hockley County Commissioners’ Court will be holding a regular meeting Monday, January 15, beginning at 9 a.m. in the Commissioners’ Courtroom located at the Hockley County Courthouse.
The agenda items slated for the meeting are: Read for approval the minutes of the special meeting held January 8; Read for approval all monthly bills and claims submitted to the court and dated through January 15; Discussion and potential action regarding the Hockley County District Attorney’s request for EOC Certification regarding SB 22; Discussion and potential action regarding the Hockley County District Attorney’s request for Exemption for Expert Witnesses per Local Government Code 262.024.
Consider and take necessary action to Nunc Pro Tunc the previous meeting agenda dated January 8 to reflect that the meeting was a special meeting not a regular meeting; Consider and take necessary action to Nunc Pro Tunc item five on a previous agenda dated December 18, 2023 due to typographical error to reflect the following: “Discussion and potential action concerning the trade-in of a 2018 motor grader and the purchase of a 2024 motor grader from Warren CAT for use in Precinct 1”; Consider and take necessary action to approve the final plat for Wolfforth West, Lots 35-51 and 86-102, being 87.93 acres Tract of land situated in Labor 1, League 6, Wilbarger County School Land, Abstract 145, Hockley County, Texas and located in Precinct 1; Consider and take necessary action to approve the plat for Lots 16-25, Prairie View Estates Subdivision, to the County of Hockley, Texas and located in Precinct 1; Consider and take necessary action to approve the Continuation Certificate for Maggie Rodriguez, Hockley County Deputy District Clerk, which is a portion of tabled item number seven from a previous agenda dated January 8; and Consider and take necessary action to approve the purchase of a 2024 Caterpillar 150 Motor Grader to be purchased through the buy board with a trade-in of 2019 Caterpillar 140 M3 Motor Grader for use in Precinct 4.
