The Commissioners’ Court of Hockley County will hold a special meeting Monday at 9:00 a.m. in the Commissioners’ Courtroom at the Hockley County Courthouse.
Items on the agenda include: -Read and approve the minutes of the regular meeting held on March 20.
-Consider for approval all monthly bills and claims submitted to the Court and dated through March 27.
-Consider and take action to approve the Proclamation as submitted by the Hockley County Child Welfare Board proclaiming April as Child Abuse Awareness Month.
-Consider and take necessary action to approve the Application to Request Use of Courthouse Lawn and Hold Harmless Agreement as submitted by Cara Phelan.
-Consider and take necessary action to approve the donation of one used Equature Voice Recorder from South Plains Association of Governments to be used by the Hockley County Sheriff’s Office.
-Consider and take necessary action to go out for bids for bank depository for the county.
-Consider and take necessary action to approve the trade-in of a 2018 John Deere 770G Motor Grader and to purchase a 2023 John Deere 770G Motor Grader through Sourcewell Co-op for use in Precinct three.
