Cotton & Crude offers family fun

WILL BANISTER–Country music is what Will Banister was all about as he took the stage and played a good two hours entertaining the crowd at the second annual Cotton & Crude Festival held Saturday. Banister had the crown dancing and singing to familiar songs by Merle Haggard, Hank Williams, George Strait and Brooks and Dunn. Banister has performed all over the Southwest, in states such As New Mexico, Texas, Oklahoma, and Kansas, in addition to multiple tours in the U.K. and Europe. His latest album “Everything Burns” consists of 11 songs, 10 of which were either written or co-written by Banister.
Banister received a 5 star review, and was announced as album of the month in the March of 2020 edition of the U.K. publication Country Music People Magazine.

 

GIOVANNIE & THE HIRED GUNS–The second annual Cotton & Crud Festival brought in a huge crowd from many parts of the world as well as all over Texas for its center stage main event Saturday evening featuring Giovannie & The Hired Guns. The Stephenville, Texas-based band is known for its Southern rock, metal to la musica norteña and Latin hip-hop. Band members include: frontman Giovannie Yanez (center), guitarist Jerrod Flusche and Carlos Villa, bassist Alex Trejo and drummer Milton Toles. Giovannie & The Hired Guns rocked with passion and connected with the crowd that made them feel like they were
part of the show.
