Stay at Home Mom’ing is one of the hardest jobs there is, and that’s why it’s important to have a group that truly understand.
The Levelland Main Street Program is partnering with Mommies of Levelland Facebook group, to provide a weekly place where moms can meet up, grab a cup o’ joe at the local coffee shop, let the kids play together under the shade trees, grab lunch, make a new friend, enjoy some adult conversation and setup future play dates.
This is a come as you can, scheduled weekly meet-up, Thursdays at 10am. What you do after, is up to you! We have historic tours you can do on your own or as a group and teach your kiddos a little about the History of Levelland. There are currently 44 mosaics on the square, you can use to teach your kids about art.
We’ll be programming something fun at least once a month during these mom walks so stay tuned here and to the Mommies of Levelland Facebook page for times and dates. We’ve lined up a magician, a beekeeper, some musicians and of course our 3rd Thursday Food and Food Truck Day will overlap with the perfect ending to a Mom’s Walk...YOU don’t have to cook! MosaicMomsWalk Mommies of Levelland we are excited to partner with you and offer Mom’s a new and safe place to come together to meet new friends, support one another, share in the daily struggles of raising kids and just have some adult conversation, to break up your week!
Every Thursday we encourage mom’s as schedules and naps allow to meet up at the Gazebo in Downtown Levelland. Where you go and what you do from there, is up to you!
We have Mosaic Sandwich & Coffee Company where you can stop and grab a drink and a snack, you can visit a few of our 44 mosaics in the nine block district, let the kiddos play under the shade trees on the courthouse lawn, scan one of the historic tour codes on a nearby trash receptacle and teach the kids about the downtown history. The skies the limit.
Every 3rd Thursday, let us do the cooking for you and enjoy one of the yummy food trucks that takes up residence from 11-2, or sit down and listen to a resident musician entertain you and the kiddos.
