The Texas Department of Public Safety has reported the arrest of two Lubbock individuals after conducting a warrant service March 15.
Shortly before noon, the DPS Criminal Investigations Division Special Agents, Texas Highway Patrol troopers and Lubbock County Sherriff’s Office deputies executed the warrant at a residence near the area of 15th Steer and Avenue X in Lubbock.
Two individuals were taken into custody, Jason Lee Garza, 47, and Maegen Michele Gomez, 36, both of Lubbock. The report states Gomez had active warrants for her arrest for Violation of Probation for Possession of a Controlled Substance and traffic violations.
Both individuals were charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Marijuana. During the search of the residence, methamphetamines, marijuana and firearms were located and seized.
The investigation is still ongoing.
