The City of Sundown currently has three council member positions available for the May 6, 2023 election.
The city has a Friday, February 17th deadline at 5 p.m. to file for a place on the ballot.
Sundown will also be having a special election for reducing the Tax Rate for the current year from $0.712811 per $100 to $0.629288 per $100.
