The City of Levelland has announced they have a FEMA Assistance page on their website to aid storm recovery.
Individuals will go to the City of Levelland website and click on the storm recovery info button on the homepage. The tab contains useful phone numbers and FEMA information for community members.
A reminder is also issued stating the City of Levelland staff is not trained in the administration of FEMA benefits, the intricacies of FEMA programs or the FEMA disaster protocols.
The announcement stated, “These are federal programs…and though we are extremely happy and grateful that the federal government has taken the needs of our citizens seriously, please know that any questions about their programs, benefits, questions about when and how they will make contact with you are all questions you will need to pose to FEMA.”
If anyone is compelled to contact City Hall about FEMA, city staff will provide their number, 1-800-621-3362. All info can be found on the FEMA and Disaster Assistance websites.
