Units were dispatched to a residence in the 400 block of Poplar Street in reference to a small fire. Upon entry to the residence, the fire was put out. It was determined the fire was started by a heating element failure.
2/1/2023 - DISPATCH 6:52 AM - CLEARED 12:45 PM SMYER
The department received a call from dispatch in reference to a multi-car wreck on Highway 114 in Smyer. Fire units were requested to provide assistance to the Smyer Fire Departmen and Levelland EMS.
