7/4/2024-HOCKLEYCOUNTY
A deputy with HCSO was dispatched to the Levelland Emergency Room in reference to an assault. A report for assault causing bodily injury was made.
7/6/2024-HOCKLEYCOUNTY
Dispatch advised HCSO deputies of a caller who wanted to report prescribed medications missing. Deputies made contact by phone call with the individual and a report was taken.
7/7/2024-HOCKLEYCOUNTY
Around 8 a.m., dispatch advised that a caller contacted mental health services and expressed self harm ideation. A welfare check was requested by mental health representatives. Deputies arrived to the reported location and contacted the subject. While speaking with the subject, they confirmed ideation. An emergency detention was executed.
7/7/2024-HOCKLEYCOUNTY
Dispatch with Levelland Police department advised deputies of a abandoned vehicle on Highway 114 and Leon Road. A report for criminal mischief between $50 and $500 was made.
7/8/2024 - LEVELLAND
Deputies with the HCSO were dispatch to the 500 block of Tim Street in Levelland in regards to criminal mischief. Contact with the reporting party lead to a report being taken.
7/8/2024 - LEVELLAND
Around 10:51 a.m., a deputy conducted a traffic stop on a maroon Dodge for failure to signal in the 200 block of Cherry Street. An arrest was made for possession of controlled substance was made as a result.
7/8/2024-HOCKLEYCOUNTY
Deputy response was requested at the 500 block of W. State Road 1294 in reference to a fight.
7/10/2024 - HOCKLEY COUNTY
Around 4 p.m., deputies were dispatched to an on going domestic disturbance between family members. The complainant further advised that the suspected party also had possession of a firearm. Statements were obtained from parties identified as victims and suspect. Victims reported being assaulted by the suspect party and displayed injuries consistent with the assault. The suspect party was taken into custody and transported to the Hockley County Jail.
7/11/2024 - HOCKLEY COUNTY
Deputies responded to the 2800 block of Five Mile Road in reference to a theft of copper wire from a center pivot irrigation. A report was taken.
7/12/2024 - ANTON Around 11:27 a.m., a deputy was dispatched to the 400 block of Main Street in Anton in reference to a burglary that was in progress. An arrest was made as a result for burglary of a habitation.
7/15/2024 - OPEDYKE
A deputy was dispatched to an incident that occurred at the Opedyke pool involving juveniles. A report for assault class C was made.
7/15/2024 - LEVELLAND
A deputy conducted a traffic stop on 13th Street in Levelland resulting in a ticket. A report for driving while license invalid with a previous conviction was made.
7/16/2024 - HOCKLEY COUNTY
Deputies were dispatched to the 3200 block of W. Highway 300 in reference to theft that had already occurred. Deputies made contact with the complainant and a report was generated.

Deputies were dispatched to the location of Nevada and Howard in reference to a theft that had already occurred. Deputies made contact with the complainant and a report was generated.
7/22/2024 - HOCKLEY COUNTY
Around 6:40 a.m., deputies with the HCSO were dispatch to the intersection of Ohio and King Road in regards to a domestic disturbance that had already occurred prior to deputies arrival.
7/22/2024 - HOCKLEY COUNTY
Deputies with the Hockley County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 2600 block of Robert Lee Street in reference to a dog bite.
