The Hockley County Commissioners’ Court will be holding a regular meeting Monday, August 7, at 9 a.m. in the Commissioners’ Courtroom at the Hockley County Courthouse in Levelland.
The agenda items slated for the meeting are as follows: - approve the minutes of the July 31 regular meeting; - consider and approve all monthly claims and bills submitted to the court date through August 7; - hear the monthly Public Assistance Report; - submission of the 2023 No-New-Revenue Tax Rate and Voter-Approval Tax Rate to the court by Tax Assessor Debra Bramlett; - consider and take action to approve the 2024 Hockley County holidays; - consider and take action to approve the 2024 Safety Incentive Program for full-time Hockley County employees; - review the July 2023 fire runs as submitted by the City of Levelland; - consider and take action for the Nunc Pro Tunc item from July 31; and - approve the minute for regular meetings held July 24 and July 27.
