Hockley County Extension Office announces July summer projects

The Hockley County Extension Office has begun their summer project series.

A limit of 12 children is placed on each activity, except for fishing which has a limit of 15; each activity is seven dollars. Payment must be received by the Texas AgriLife Extension Office to guarantee a spot.

Fishing will be held July 6, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Lobo Lake for ages nine through 18. Rocketry will be held July 11, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Extension Office for ages nine through 14 Beautification and Gardening will be held July 18 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Extension Office for ages nine through 18. The registration deadline is July 11.

Photography will be held July 20 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Extension Office for the ages nine through 18. The registration deadline is July 12.

Leather Craft will be held August 1 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Extension Office for the ages nine through 18. The registration deadline is July 25.
