The Hockley County Memorial Library will host the summer reading program ‘All Together Now’ through July 28. Participants can be registered throughout the summer until July 15.
There are eight activity sets children are able to complete throughout the summer and eight activities to be hosted at the library.
Each participant will have their name displayed in the library and will receive a prize for each completed activity set returned to the library by 4:30 p.m. July 31.
The event schedule is as follows: - June 7: Kim Lehman, a storyteller at the Brasch-Mitchell Building at 10 a.m.
- June 14: Magic by Bronson Chadwick at the First Methodist Church at 1011 Houston Street at 10 a.m.
- June 21: Minis and Friends, miniature service horses at the courthouse square gazebo at 10 a.m.
- June 28: Service dogs at the courthouse square gazebo at 10 a.m.
- July 5: Art and Apples at 10 a.m.
- July 13: Books and Bagels at 10 a.m. - July 20: Coloring and Cookies at 10 a.m. - July 27: Doodles and Donuts at 10 a.m.
