The Hockley County Commissioners’ Court will be holding a regular meeting Monday, July 24 at 9 a.m., followed by a budget workshop meeting slated for 9:30 a.m.
Agenda items set for the regular meeting are as follows: - read for approval the minutes of the regular meeting held Monday, July 17; - consider for approval all monthly bills and claims submitted to the Court dated through July 24; - consider and take necessary action to approve the Hockley County Treasurer’s 2023 2nd Quarterly Financial Report; - consider and take necessary action to approve the service contract between Hockley County and GIF Services LLC for Asbestos Air Monitoring Services at 702, 706 and 708 Ave. H, Levelland, Texas;
- consider and take necessary action to approve the Purple Wave Internet Auction Agreement to auction a 2010 Ford Pickup - 88868, 2003 Chev Pickup - 16952, 2012 Chev Pickup - 14847, 2011 Chev Pickup - 62022, 2006 Chev Pickup - 43964, 2005 Ford Pickup - 81781 and Wylie 500 gallon spraying rig, inventory #024-614-0025; - consider and take necessary action to approve the Official Bond and Oath of Gina Sisk, Clerk, Justice of the Peace, Precinct 5; and - consider and take necessary action to approve a road crossing for Raymond Marek on Ontario Road, located in Precinct 3. Following the regular meeting, the court will proceed into a budget workshop focused on the 2023-2024 Fiscal Year.
