6/23/2024 - ANTON Around 9:46 p.m., dispatch advised deputy response was being requested to an address in the 300 block of Duggan in Anton. The caller reported a male and female arrived to their residence and dropped off 12 puppies with no prior arraignments to do so. Deputies arrived and contacted the complainant and a witness on scene. Deputies observed 12 puppies in a large tote at the complainant’s address. Due to the totality of the circumstances, deputies took possession of 12 puppies and filed a criminal report regarding animal cruelty/abandonment.
6/21/2024 - HOCKLEY COUNTY
Deputies responded to the 6300 block of U.S. Highway 84 in reference to a theft that had already occurred. A report was taken.
6/21/2024 - HOCKLEY COUNTY
A deputy conducted a traffic stop on U.S. Highway 84, near Onion Shed Road for observed traffic violations. The driver was arrested for possession of a controlled substance penalty group two, between one gram and four grams.
6/19/2024 - HOCKLEY COUNTY
A deputy with the HCSO was dispatched to the 3900 block of W. Highway 114, in reference to an unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. A report was taken for the incident and the vehicle was entered as stolen.
6/17/2024 - HOCKLEY COUNTY
Dispatch with Levelland Police Department requested deputy response to the 3100 block of Sparrow Road in reference to a theft that already occurred.
6/17/2024 - ANTON Around 4:34 p.m., deputies were dispatched to the 600 block of 9th Street in Anton in reference to a suicidal attempt. An investigation was completed.
6/9/2024 – HOCKLEY COUNTY
Dispatch with the Levelland Police Department advised deputy response to the 3000 block of Kansas in reference to domestic a fight.
6/6/2024 – HOCKLEY COUNTY
A HCSO deputy took a report of copper theft from three Verizon transmission tower locations. A report for theft of material aluminum, bronze, copper or brass was made.
6/5/2024 – HOCKLEY COUNTY A deputy with the HCSO was dispatched to the 700 block of Koala Road in reference to an unknown disturbance. As a result, one individual was arrested for manufacturing, delivery of a controlled substance penalty group one, between four grams and 200 grams.
6/3/2024 – HOCKLEY COUNTY
Deputies responded to the 6300 block of Cactus Drive in reference to a burglary of a vehicle that had already occurred. The call resulted in a report being taken for burglary of a vehicle.
6/3/2024–LAWENFORCEMENTCENTER
Deputies met with a complainant at the Law Enforcement Center
in reference to a theft of oil field equipment. A report was made for theft of property between $500 and $1,500.
6/1/2024 – HOCKLEY COUNTY
Deputies with the HCSO responded to the 3000 Block of Foster Road in regards to a domestic call that resulted with one individual in custody.
6/1/2024 – HOCKLEY COUNTY
A deputy was dispatched to a disabled vehicle in the 3100 block of Mason Road. The vehicle was recovered as stolen and one occupant was arrested for the unauthorized use of a vehicle.
