THE INSANITY OF MARY GIRARD

LHS Theater students performed “The Insanity of Mary Girard” by Lanie Robertson this past week. Students portray a brilliant young woman with a love for music and poetry, who suddenly became withdrawn, along with ghosts that help reveal secrets. The play explored themes of mental health, sanity, madness, grief, judgment and how society often misunderstands those who are different. Joshua Ballard teacher and director for the LHS Theater department, along with students, director and supporters made the production a great success. Shown are (left to right) Bryson Pigg, Jesse Reyes, Moises Medrano, Keira Rodriguez, Desiree Torres, Alexondrea Harlow and Abigail Heseman.
