The Hockley County & Levelland News-Press has a tie for week 2 of the annual football contest. First and second place were determined by the cumulative tiebreaker between the Atlanta Falcons vs. the LosAngelas Rams, which totaled 58 points. Jerry D. Gleason secured the top spot in week two’s contest as he was 18-2 in picks and was the closest in the tiebreaker score with 46 points.
Coming in second was Frank Enriquez with an 18-2 record, but had 34 points in the tie breaker.
Taking third was Kip Hancock with a 16-4 record.
Also finishing week two with a 16-4 record are: Kerrigan Boggs, Jonathan Golightly, Areli Wright, Lissa Gilliam, Lonnie Joe Howell and Will Moore.
Finishing 15-5 for the week are: Roger Green, Malcolm Comer, Nancy Comer, Margaret Gleason, Donna Pugh, Jana Rodriguez, Diana Overton and Scott Winn.
Going 14-6 in the week are: David Rangel, Kaedyn Boggs, Frank Castillo, David Hatter, Dekota Golightly and Wayne Mason. A large group of individuals finished the week 13-7 which include: Jerry Boggs, Sergio Cardiel, Elaine Winn, Michael Lopez, Dominic Martinez, Larry Holman, and Kylie Boggs.
