God said to Abram, “Know this, your descendants will live as outsiders in a land not theirs, they’ll be enslaved and beaten down for 400 It is a dangerous years. Then I’ll punish their slave masters, your offspring will march out of there loaded with plunder. Not until the fourth generation will your descendants return here, sin is still a thriving business among the Amorites.” Genesis 15:14. 16

I remember as a child having conversations with my Dad, telling him that something was not fair. He told me on several occasions that life is not always fair. As a grown woman, I understand that there are many things in life that happen that are not fair, they are not right and too often it seems like evil prevails. Even though life does not always seem to be fair, we have the hope that God is righteous and He has set into motion the law of sowing and reaping, “Do not be deceived, God is not mocked, for whatever a man sows, that He will also reap.” When we find ourselves in a season of life not being fair, it is easy to think that living a way that is pleasing to God has no benefit or earthly reward. Yes, I understand we will stand before God one day and we will give an account of all that we have done and either God will say “Well done, good and faithful servant,” or “ depart from Me, you cursed , into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil.” I guess the question is “Does God intervene on earth when life is not fair?” To answer that question, we need to look at the definition of fair. Fair is defined as an adjective as impartial, just, without favoritism or discrimination., and the adverb definition is without cheating and trying to achieve unjust advantage.” Wouldn’t life be easier if people played fair in all their dealings? We are living in the time Isaiah prophesied about when He said “Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness.” Isaiah 5:20. Life in the United States of America and around our world is not fair right now. People who are violent criminals are being protected while parents are being put on terrorist watch list who are trying to protect their children in school board meetings. There is solid evidence that mules were used to steal the election (2,000 Mules) and nothing is done about it. We are losing our rights and the freedoms our constitution has guaranteed for us. Unfairness is even in women sports, anyone who wants to identify as a woman can compete regardless of their biological makeup. Many companies are leaving the “blue” liberal states where people are allowed to loot and steal anything, they want from their stores without the fear of the law intervening. Even in our prisons, men who are violent rapist can “identify” as a woman and they are placed in to female prisons and are allowed sexual abuse the women there. Government spending is out of control and more and more of our hard-earned money is being stolen by taxes and a beefed-up IRS system. Extreme taxation will always lead to slavery, that is how Pharaoh managed to enslave the Israelites while they were in Egypt. Our current administration is putting people into offices based on their perverse ideology instead of their competency and ability to do their job. Recently a black woman was nominated as a Supreme Court Justice that could not define what woman was, yet we want to give her a deciding vote and a life long appointment for justice in our country. Perhaps you will agree with me that life in our nation is not fair, impartial or just. Even in our personal lives, we have each been treated unfairly at times. The person you trained for the job, got the promotion or something you said in innocence was twisted and used against you. God appointed judges to obey and apply the law, defending those who have been wronged. Judges will give an account to God for the wrongful judgements they make. Psalm 82:1-3 in the Message translation says, “God calls the judges into His courtroom, He puts all the judges on the dock. “Enough! You’ve corrupted justice long enough, you’ve let the wicked get away with murder. You are here to defend the defenseless, to make sure the underdogs get a fair break. Your job is to stand up for the powerless and prosecute all those who exploit them.” I think the church has a good understanding that we will all someday stand before God and give an account for how we lived our lives, but the concept of God judging nations and evil leaders, holding them accountable is not as widely understood.

It is a dangerous place to be when we become so arrogant as to think we can treat other people anyway we want to, and God will ignore it. Hebrews 10:31 “It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.” Listen to how Daniel defines the majesty and complete authority of God, “I watched till thrones were put in place and the Ancient of Days was seated, His garments was white as snow and the hairs of Heis head like pure wool. His throne was a fiery flame, its wheels a burning fire. A fiery steam issued and came forth from before Him. A thousand thousands ministered to Him, ten thousand times ten thousand stood before Him, the court was seated and the books were opened. I watched then as the sound of the pompous words which the horn was speaking. I watched till the best was slain and its body destroyed and given to the burning flame. As for the rest of the beast, they had their dominion taken way.” Daniel 7:9-12. Another scripture that talks about the Judgement of God being in session in Job. The narrative in Job starts with Stan going before the throne of God and God asked Satan, “ Have you considered Job?” And Satan replied, “Job fears you for mothing, have you not put a hedge around him?” Satan is bound by the boundaries and parameters God has set for him. God is the Most High and there is nothing above Him or that can compare to Him. Despite the fact God gave mankind a free will, He will always hear the cries of His people and He will respond to the prayers of the righteous. The wickedness of mankind is why od destroyed the earth with a flood in Genesis and it is recorded though out scripture that sin would cause people to lose their inheritance. In Genesis 13:16 God told Abram that his descendants would inherit the land of Canaan because of the rampant sin of the Amorites. In Leviticus, God told the Israelites that they were to follow His ordinances and instructions do they would not be expelled from the land He had given them. God judged the sexual immorality, homosexuality, bestiality, and offering their children to Molech. They burned their children in the fire as a sacrifice to Molech. America sacrifices the inheritance of the Lord with abortions. Listen to the judgement God warned would happen when they followed the heathen nations into sin. Leviticus 18:21 “ lest the land vomit you out also when you defile it, as it has vomited out the nations that were before you.”

The Courts and the justice system in the United States of America have failed to fulfill their God given responsibilities to make sure justice is served. According to Psalm 8, God will step in and hold the judges accountable and will remove the judges who are not righteous in their rulings. Psalm 82 “God calls the judges into his courtroom; he puts all the judges in the dock. you’ve let the wicked get away with murder. You’re here to defend the defenseless, to make sure that underdogs get a fair break; Your job is to stand up for the powerless and prosecute all those who exploit them.” Ignorant judges! Head-in-the-sand judges! They haven’t a clue what’s going on. And now everything’s falling apart, the world’s coming unglued. “I appointed you judges, each one of you, deputies of the High God, but you’ve betrayed your commission and now you’re stripped of your rank, busted.” O God, give them what they’ve got coming! You’ve got the whole world in your hands!” Even the land will vomit out the workers of iniquity. The nefarious leaders have sinned against God and the laws of this great country and since the Judges in our courts will not hold them accountable, God will step in and begin to remove the evil leaders. Take comfort knowing that God is still God and He promises to intervene when we cry out to Him. Deuteronomy 32:36 “For the Lord will judge His people. And have compassion on His servant. When He sees that their power is gone and there is no one remaining bond or free.” When the evil doers are vomited out of the land, the land and its riches will be given to the righteous people chooses to bless. I am ready to walk into a country where justice prevails and into the complete inheritance God has for those who love Him.
