“So, he answered, “Do not fear, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them.” And Elisha prayed, and said, “Lord I pray, open his eyes that he may see.” Then the Lord opened the eyes of the young man, and he saw. And behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.”
2 Kings 6:16-17 I watched Flash Point last Thursday and Dr. McCullough, a leading cardiologist was on the program talking about dealing with the long-haul side of effects of the Covid virus and the vaccine. After we got Covid virus in 2020, J.D. has struggled with his since of smell and it affected my eyesight, the frustrating side effects do not seem to go away. J.D. has a cousin that has had no sense of taste since she had Covid in early 2020. I was very interested in what Dr. McCullough had to say about the effects the virus and the jab left behind. Dr. McCullough said that both the virus and the vaccine leave a foreign substance called a spike protein that attacks various areas of the body. The spike proteins will attack the weakest parts of a person’s body and will cause people to have different long-term symptoms, while some lose their since of smell, others have trouble seeing, or lose their taste, or have difficulty catching their breath, and the list goes on. The spike protein has been found in the brain, heart, liver kidneys, ovaries, tentacles, in blood clots and other parts of the body. The spike proteins incite inflammation and thrombosis. Our God given immune system has a way to attack and surround foreign invaders like viruses, bacteria infections and funguses, but spike proteins are unnatural substances that our bodies do not recognize and do not have the natural ability to fight or get rid of the spike proteins causing the long haul problems. I was excited to hear Dr. McCullough has developed a base spike detoxification protocol, because my eyes hurt a lot and at times, I have problems even recognizing peoples faces from 15 feet away. The routine is simple, take 2000 FUs of Natto kinase twice a day without food, 500 mg of Bromelain once a day without food, and 500 mg of Curcumin with piperine additive twice a day. (Go to PeterMcculloughmd.com for more details.) It is not an instant fix and it may take from 3-12 months for the spike proteins to be removed from your body. The detox consists of over the counter supplements so on the way home from work after watching Flash Point, I went to Sprouts to get the supplements, (Drug Emporium has them in stock as well.) Within 24 the pain in my eyes had lessened and by Sunday the worship words on the screen at church were no longer double and my food tastes saltier than it has been. If you are suffering from long-haul side effects of the vaccine or the virus, I would encourage you to do some research and see if this detox protocol will help you. Just as Covid attacks and dulls the senses of many people, there are traumatic events that attack and dull our spiritual senses as well. I know people who have devoted their entire lives to serving God and they are struggling with debilitating diseases, others have buried spouses and children way to early in their journeys, those who have suffered a physical trauma such as abuse that holds them captive years after the abuse ended, others struggle to make ends meet financially, and the devastation left from rejection from broken relationships and even hurt inflicted by church people. While many have held on to their faith in God, the devastation has left them with a blurred sense of who God is to them personally. Cindy Jacobs is a dynamic preacher that God has used in healing many people. I heard her talk about her beloved sister dying quickly of cancer and her extreme grief. A few weeks after her sister’s death, God sent her to preach in a foreign nation and to pray for the sick. She told God she did not understand and she was disappointed that He chose not to heal her sister. Losing her sister to cancer challenged her beliefs that God is good and that He still heals. God told her, He was still the healer, and what happened to her sister was between Him and her sister and that she still needed to pray for the sick. As Christians we are called to be soldiers in God’s army, Paul taught in Ephesians 6 to put on the armor, to suit up for battle. There has been bad doctrine taught in the church, that when we get saved, our lives will get better, everything will get easy and all our problems will magically disappear. Some teaching even states that if we are facing difficulty we are not in the will of God. Paul’s life is a great example of the true cost of following Jesus, and Paul told us there will be problems in this life in 2 Corinthians 4:8-19 “We are hard-pressed on every side, yet not crushed, we are perplexed, but not in despair, persecuted, but not forsaken, struck down, but not destroyed.” Jesus said it this way in John 16:33 “These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulations, but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” I was taught at a young age to pray about everything, being very strong willed, I would “order “ God how and when to fix all my problems instead of going to Him in prayer and leaving my requests and allowing Him to answer my prayers the way He knows will bring about the best result. The times I did not trust God, but tried to work things out in my way and on my timetable always left me frustrated and even challenged my confidence that God would answer my prayers. God told Isaiah in Isaiah 55:8-9 “For My thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways My ways.” Says the Lord, “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so ae My ways higher than your ways and My thoughts than your thoughts.” Thank God He sees everything and He is not limited to thinking or acting the way I think He should. As you are reading this, I wonder what experience or trauma have you gone through that have dulled your spiritual senses and caused your faith in God to waver. Perhaps you know that God can do anything, but your do not believe He will do anything for you. We went through a difficult season that lasted over six years. When we bought the business in Roswell in 2010, we faced attack after attack, the women who managed the office embezzled money from the company and we fired them, which caused us to have to go to Roswell 2-3 days a week. Our daughter was suffering with a stomach issues that caused her to vomit every 15 minutes when the spells hit. We were threatened with 2 lawsuits. One of the major builders we worked with for years went with another company. It seemed like everything that could go wrong we went wrong. The two hours and twenty minutes it took to get to Roswell became a time of great intercession when I was alone. I would attend a woman’s conference once a year just so I could keep putting one foot in front of the other. After six and a half long years and many prayers later, God helped us to close that door without any debt. I remember the times where it was even hard to breathe because the pressure was so great. I am sharing this to encourage those who are feeling overwhelmed with life, that God is faithful and He will work everything together for your good. Our nation is going through this kind of difficult season. Many Christians have fasted and prayed, believing God to turn our nation around and instead of seeing our prayers answered the way we thought God would answer them, the attack of the enemy has become even stronger. The corruption in our government is rampant, in the natural, nothing seems to be done about dishonest politicians. The left is coming after our children and want them to be wards of the state and doing away with parental rights. A new variation of Covid is back and the doctors that had natural remedies for it have suffered imprisonment and had their license taken away for standing against the narrative and for the truth. The enemy has brought every attack that he could think of to surround God’s people. Makes me think about the story in 2 Kings 6, God told Elisha what the Kin of Syria was planning to attack the King of Israel and Elisha sent messengers to warn and protect the King of Israel from the attacks. The Syrian King thought someone in his army was a traitor, but the soldiers told him that there was a man of God in Israel, Elisha, and God was revealing all the plans the king made in his bedroom to. The King of Syria decided to take his vast army to attack the man of God at Dothan, and one night surrounded the valley and the city with soldiers and chariots. Elisha’s servant went outside the next morning and saw the great army he asked Elisha. “What shall we do?” Elisha was not concerned about the army that surrounded the city, because he could see what the servant could not see. Elisha told him to not fear, isn’t amazing that there are 365 times in the bible where we are told not to fear, one for each day of the week. Instead of reacting in fear, Elisha prayed and said, “Lord, I pray, open his eyes that he may see.” God answered Elisha’s prayer and the eyes of the servant was open and God showed him the mountain that was full of the armies of God, angels that surrounded the enemy with horses and chariots of fire. We cannot allow the things we see and hear in the natural to diminish what God is doing in the supernatural world. There are things in the spiritual realm that are hard for us to recognize with our natural senses. Proverbs 3:5-6 “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct your path.” Our natural senses will deceive us. 2 Corinthians 5:7 For we walk by faith and not sight.” Faith allows us to see truth above what we see in the natural. The pain of the past does not just affect our sight, it affects our hearing and our sense of taste. Several times in Revelations, the Spirit addresses the church “Let him who has an ear hear.” When we ignore the Spirit speaking to us, our sense of hearing in the Spirit becomes damaged and sometimes none existent. Have you ever heard someone say that an experience left a bitter taste in their mouth? Too often when God does not move the way we think He should or in our timing, we become bitter and it leaves a bad taste in our mouths. Psalms 34:8 “Oh taste and see that the Lord is good; Blessed is the man who trusts in Him.” Trusting in God will allow you to taste the goodness of God. Have your senses been dulled by the problems and difficulties you have been through? The word of God will detoxify your mind from the wrong doctrine and beliefs you have formed about God to explain the trauma you have experienced. God keeps His promises and He will perform what His word says He will do. Isaiah 55:”10-11 “For as the rain comes down and the snow from heaven, and do not return there, but waters the earth, and make it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower and bred to the eater, so shall My word be that goes forth form My mouth, it shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please and it shall prosper in the thing which I sent it.” I do not know what trauma you have gone through or are experiencing, but I come today in the authority of the Most High God, in the precious name of Jesus Christ my savior and I pray that your eyes will be open and you will see the armies of God that is surrounding you and fighting for you. I pray Ephesians 1:16b-19, “Making mention of you in my prayers, that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ , the Father of Glory, may give you the spirit of wisdom and revelation, in the knowledge of Him, the eyes of your understanding being enlightened that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power.”
