Join Us In Prayer

And Elijah went to the top of Carmel, then he bowed down to the ground and put his face between his knees, and said to his servant, “Go up now and look toward the sea.” So, he went up and looked and said, “There is nothing.” And he seven times he said, “Go again.” Then it came to pass on the seventh time, that he said, “There is a cloud the size of a man’s hand, rising out of the sea.” So, he said, “Go up and say to Ahab, “Prepare your chariot and go down before the rain stops you.” Now it happened in the meantime, that the sky became black with clouds and wind, and there was a heavy rain. So, Ahab rode away and went to Jezreel. Then the hand of the Lord came upon Elijah, and he girded up his loins and ran ahead of Ahab to the entrance of Jezreel. 1 Kings 18:42-46 Elijah was God’s chosen voice during the reign of Ahab king of Israel. Ahab married Jezebel and she brought Baal worship into Israel and caused the people to commit abominations against God. Whenever kings went rogue in the bible and rebelled against God, God always raised up a prophet to confront the sin and to lead the people back to a pure worship of God. God instructed Elijah to confront the sins of Ahab and to stand for righteousness. Because of King Ahab’s sinful leadership, God stopped the rain. It was a showdown between good and evil, God and Baal. Solomon understood that the sins of the people would cause God to shut the heavens and stop the rain until they repented. When he dedicated the temple in 2 Chronicles 6, he prayed to God, “When the heavens are shut up and there is no rain because they have sinned against You, when they pray toward this place, and confess your name , and turn from their sin because in You afflict them, then hear in heaven and forgive the sin of your servants, Your people Israel, that You may teach them the good way in which they should walk, and send rain on Your land which You have given to Your people as an inheritance.” Ahab was powerless to make it rain. It took the anointing of Elijah the prophet to change the course of the nation of Israel. Elijah obeyed God and prayed for rain when He told him to end the drought. Elijah called for the 450 prophets of Baal to meet him and challenged them to pray and ask their God to send fire down from heaven.

Whichever God sent the fire from heaven and consumed the sacrifice on the altar was the one true God. The prophets of Ball went first and prayed, cried, cut themselves all day long and Ball did not answer with fire. Next Elijah built his altar, placed the wood and the sacrifice on it and poured water all over the sacrifice and wood. When he prayed to God, God sent fire and consumed the sacrifice and all the water Elijah had poured on the altar. Elijah had all the prophets of Baal put to death for their idolatrous worship. Next God told Elijah to pray for rain. Elijah was full of faith when he went up on Mount Carmel and prayed for rain. He told his servant to go look over the sea and see if there were any clouds. The servant came back and said there were no clouds. Elijah made him to keep checking seven times until the servant saw a cloud the size of a man’s hand. As soon as the servant saw the small cloud, Elijah told him to go and warn the king to get down from the mountain. The small cloud soon darkened the sky, and the winds began to howl and there was a mighty rain. Elijah took his robes and tucked them into his belt and ran down the mountain. The hand of God was on Elijah and on foot, he outran the king’s chariots.

Our world is in a battle between God and Baal, good and evil. We have seen a shortage of many things because of the sins of this current administration. The perverse government leaders think they can defy God and get away with their rebellion and even win a battle against our Most High God. Sadly, the church has put their trust in politics and government thinking it is the solution to the battle that is raging. I am still a firm believer that Donald Trump is God’s anointed man for the hour and God is in the process of putting him back in office. This week Benjamin Netanyahu was put back in as Israel’s Prime Minister as the prophets have prophesied. God will fulfill His promise and restore our rightful President. While it is not only a privilege to vote, it is our civic duty, and we should not take our rights for granted but actively influence our government and culture. The church has trusted in man’s ways and forgot that God’s ways are higher. He is not bound by our constitution, our timetable, or our elections. God is God and above Him there is no other. Too many people have put their trust in a man to save our country. It is like the church thinks that as soon as President Trump takes office again, the church will be ok. We have the cart before the horse. It is only when the Church takes her rightful place and walks in her God given authority will we see the changes in our government. President Trump has fought for our country since 2016 and in many instances fought by himself. The church was too busy enjoying the blessings that came from a righteous leader, Proverbs 29:2 “When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice.”

I am thankful that President Trump is a righteous leader and during his presidency the nation reaped the positive blessings of his righteous leadership. The government was never designed to carry the Church, the Church was given the responsibility to carry the government. “For unto us a child is born, unto us a Son is given, and the government will be upon His shoulder., and His name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father and Prince of Peace.” Isaiah 9:4. The bible does not say “upon government I will build my church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.” It does say in Matthew 16:16-18 “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”. and on this rock, (The stone the builders rejected, Jesus) I will build My church and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it.” We are that Church! The Church that the gates of Hell cannot stand against us! It is time for the Church to realize who we are and walk in our authority. Luke 10:17-19 “Then the seventy returned with joy saying, “Lord, even the demons are subject to us in your name.” And He said to them, “I saw Satan fall like lightening from heaven. Behold I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions and every power of the enemy and nothing shall by any means hurt you.” Jesus was referring to the seed of the serpent from Genesis 3:15 “And I will put enmity between your seed and her Seed, He shall bruise your head and you shall bruise his heel.” Paul told the church at Romans “And the God of peace will crush Satan under your feet shortly.” Romans 16:20. Jesus died on the cross, taking on our sin, conquered death hell and the grave, and rose again on the third day for our freedom and to give us back our authority. Matthew 16:19 “And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in haven and whatever you lose on earth will be loosed in heaven.”

It is time the church stands and bind the fraudulent leaders and bring down their authority and loose our rightful president and call him back to office. It is our job to fight for our Beloved Nation. We are anointed to outrun the king’s chariots (government). The Church is supposed to lead the way in this great movement of God. Do not despise the day of small beginnings, what looks like the size of a man’s hand will turn into a major storm. What God is doing may bring about darkness and the winds may sound fierce. Remember Peter walked on the water until he saw the storm. As the Church fully taker her place, the enemy will try everything in their power to prevail against us. It is not unusual for silence to proceed a storm and for the storm to bring darkness. Do not be alarmed or shaken, stand firmly on Jesus. Keep our eyes on Jesus and He will keep his hand on you and bring you to safety despite the storm. God knew the end from the beginning, so He is not surprised about all that is happening, and He is not wondering what to do. He has it all planned for us. We need to do our part, fast, pray, prophecy, and claim the promises of God over The United States of America and for out brothers and sisters in Christ around the world, stand in the gap. Get involved in our culture and serve where God calls you to serve.

We must armor up according to Ephesians 6 and remember 2 Corinthians 10:4-5 “For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty for the pulling down of strongholds and casting down every argument and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ.” Are you bringing down strongholds or are you coming into agreement with every argument and high thing that tries to exalt itself above our God? There is a place in history for those who are willing to follow God and trust Him no matter what they see. Joshua and Caleb are the only tow spies we remember who went into spy out the promise land, because the chose to believe God and took their inheritance. David did not let Goliath intimidate him, instead he went after him in the name of the Lord and later became king of Israel. Shadrach, Meshack, and Abednego got to know the Son of Man in the fire. Daniel influenced the beliefs of his nation because of hie unwavering devotion to prayer. Deborah chased after the enemy, leading the army of Israel to defeat the enemy, and brought peace to the nation of Israel. Esther boldly went before the king to intercede for her people. In Nehemiah’s time, each family took their place on the wall, defending the city with one hand and rebuilding the wall with the other. You are created to be the head and not the tail Deuteronomy 28:13. Romans 8:31 “If God is for us, who can be against us?” Deuteronomy 20:4 “For the Lord your God is the one who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies to give you the victory.” 1 Corinthians 15:27 “But thanks be to God. He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.”
