The Levelland Economic Development Corporation Board of Directors will be holding a regular meeting Thursday, August 31, at City Hall beginning at 12 p.m.
Following public comment, the agenda items slated for the meeting are as follows: Consider and take necessary action on the minutes of the July 2023 meeting; Consider and take necessary action on the July 2023 monthly financials; Consider and take necessary action on Resolution No. 2023-01 budget amendment for the Fiscal Year 2022-2023 budget reflecting the payment of funds paid by the LEDC in relation to the Texas Department of Agriculture Texas Capital Infrastructure grant reimbursement; Directors Report and Rail Park update; Convene into executive session pursuant to Texas Gov’t Code § 551.087 to discuss or deliberate commercial or financial information received by the Levelland Economic Development Corporation from business prospects seeking to locate, stay or expand, in the Levelland area or to deliberate an offer of a financial or other incentive to a business prospect that seeking to located, stay, or expand, in the Levelland area; and Action pertaining to the executive session.
