The Levelland Economic Development Corporation Board of Directors will be holding a regular meeting Thursday, April 18, beginning at 12 p.m. at City Hall.
Items slated for the meeting include: Public Comment(s); Consider and take necessary action on minutes of the March meeting; Consider and take necessary action on monthly financials for March; Leading EDG update from Taylor McAlpine; Directors report and Rail Park update; Convene into executive session pursuant to Texas Gov’t Code § 551.087 to discuss or deliberate commercial or financial information received by the Levelland Economic Development Corporation from business prospects seeking to locate, stay or expand, in the Levelland area or to deliberate an offer of a financial or other incentive to a business prospect that seeking to located, stay, or expand, in the Levelland area; Convene into executive session pursuant to Texas Gov’t Code § 551.072 to discuss or deliberate in executive session on certain matters concerning real property; Announcement of closed meeting pursuant to Texas Open Meetings Act: Section 551.074 Deliberations Regarding the Appointment, Employment, Evaluation, Reassignment, Duties, Discipline or Dismissal of An Officer or Employee of the LEDC: Director; Action pertaining to agenda item seven Action pertaining to agenda item eight Action pertaining to agenda item nine; and Adjourn.
