Anyone that’s talked to me knows my hearing is about as useless as a referee in a prowrestling match.

This difficulty began with a little explosion long ago and all these additional years since have taken a toll on my ability to understand much of what people are saying.

Why I’ve bored you with my affliction is to find out if others with normal hearing have this same problem. It is this insane background noise on too many T.V. programs you choose to watch.

In my case I cannot understand what the characters are saying because the background audio overrides their voices. Is this a problem with anyone other than myself?

It’s obvious that the makers of T.V. programs thinks this induced racket adds drams. A few nights ago, I turned the T.V. on to watch the final episode of Survivor.

At times when the makers of the show considered a part more dramatic the background noise was so loud that I shut off the volume.

If the makers of T.V. really think induced audio is essential make it more subtle. Reduce the added interference by a few decibels to make viewing programs better for everyone.

This is a real problem for the hearing impaired-like me!
