The Levelland Chamber of Commerce proudly brought home first place awards in website and print, electronic. The staff of the Levelland chamber built and maintain the chamber’s web page. Per Mary Siders, President of Chamber, she applauded the wonderful job done by her coworkers including Maryan Moore, Office Manager and Kelly Hancock, Special Events Manager.

“This award belongs to these two ladies for their work in maintaining the web page. These two colleagues are remarkable and talented, making the chamber and our programs better every day,” said Siders. “Maryan is tasked with keeping web site up to date and the most current details and information on our investors and members. She is extremely talented in information technology and the number one contributor to the award-winning web site. “

In the print, media category, the Chamber of Commerce award was the marketing materials for the annual Cotton & Crude Street Fair and Music Festival. Siders said “this award is due to the fantastic work of one of our amazing volunteers, Nicole Campbell, General Manager of Smith Auto Family. Nicole previously served as their Director of Marketing and Business Development. Two years ago, she created an amazing logo and brand we can be proud of and one that will last for years. It is appealing and has played a huge part in the new events’ success. Nicole spent countless hours creating the perfect image for our Cotton and Crude marketing materials. Smith Auto is so gracious in their community support and Nicole kindly donated her time and talents to the creation of the Cotton and Crude branding.

Ty Gregory, board chair who has also been very instrumental in the planning and implementation of Cotton & Crude Street Fair and Music Fest applauded Nicole’s work too. Gregory said the board reviewed many logos for this event and that were all incredibly good. Nicole’s vision and passion for this event shined through her work and we are excited to keep bringing and enhancing this event for our community, including all generations. The Chamber of Commerce succeeds because of the great volunteers and community partners like Nicole and Smith Auto Family. And we appreciate all the local businesses that make the Cotton & Crude event special.
