The Levelland city council will hold it regular meeting on Oct. 5 at city hall.
Council members are expected to consider purchasing real property located in College Heights Addition and authorize the city manager or mayor to execute all documents to complete the transaction.
The council is also expected to approve a special events applicawhile tion for the Chamber of Commerce Cotton & Crude event.
The council is expected to take action to ratify the city manager’s signature on two change orders for the WWTP project.
Concerning ordinances, the council is expected to approve Ordinance No. 1119 regarding curb cuts and driveway openings on a second reading, and Ordinance No. 1125 regarding parking in the downtown area on a second reading.
The council is expected to take necessary action on the City of Levelland’s Legislative Platform.
The city manager is expected to give a report on staff updates, projects, staff and citizen recognitions and items of community interest.
