Consider and take necessary action to select an engineering firm for the 2024 Texas Department of Agriculture Downtown Revitalization Program Main Street Set-Aside grant application and potential award.
Consider and take necessary action to approve a Police Department sponsorship of a cadet attending the South Plains College Law Enforcement Academy.
Consider and take appropriate action on the authorization to utilize up to $500,000 from the ARPA (COVID) Fund, related to designated categories of municipal revenue replacement and the health and safety of the community (including the provision of police, fire and other public safety services), for the purchase of 5 Tahoe’s for the Police Department and for the purchase of a Large Brush Truck for the Levelland Fire Department.
Consider and take appropriate action on the Financing Proposal from Government Capital for the purchase of a Ladder Truck for the Levelland Fire Department and adopt Resolution 2024-16 authorizing a contract for the purpose of financing a Fire Apparatus.
Consider and take necessary action on Resolution No. 2024-17 to submit a nomination for the Hockley County Appraisal District board of directors to fill a vacancy.
Consider and take necessary action authorizing the city manager to submit a letter to TxDOT aviation for an airport layout plan utilizing funds from the airport royalties fund.
Consider and take necessary action on a crack seal project at the Levelland Municipal Airport.
