The Levelland City Council will be holding a regular meeting Monday, May 6, beginning at 6 p.m. at City Hall.
Agenda items for the meeting include: Consider and take necessary action to approve the minutes of the April 1, regular meeting; Staff update on the progress of the investigation into the Red Flour Beetles in the Kaufman Addition; Consider and take necessary action on Ordinance No. 1079 closing a portion of the 200 block of Poplar Street, Levelland, on a second reading.
Consider and take necessary action on an interlocal agreement with the South Plains Public Health District; Consider and take necessary action to approve Resolution No. 2024-08 authorizing the submission of an application to the Events Trust Fund Program for the 2024 Clovis Horse Sales Breeder’s Futurity; City Manager Report: Staff Updates, Project Updates, Staff/ Citizen recognition, Items of Community Interest. No action will be taken; Convene into executive session in accordance with Tex. Gov’t Code §551.071 to seek the advice about pending or contemplated litigation, settlement offers or on matters in which duty of the attorney under the Texas Disciplinary Rules of Professional Conduct of the State Bar of Texas conflicts with Tex.
