3/7/2023 – 1400 block of Hickory Street
A resource officer was contacted by a Hockley County Sheriff’s Office investigator in reference to a male who had kids enrolled in Levelland ISD. The male went to un-enroll his children from Levelland ISD and was placed under arrest for two felony warrants.
3/6/2023 – 300 block of East Washington Boulevard
An officer responded to the location in reference to an assault that had already occurred. A report was generated with the description of assault, family violence strangulation.
3/6/2023 – 1400 block of Ellis Street
A school resource officer was contacted by a middle school counselor in reference to a student. After gathering further information, Hockley County Sheriff’s Office was contacted for a criminal offense that occurred in the county
3/6/2023 - 200 block of South College Avenue
An officer was dispatched to the location in reference to an alarm. After conducting a field investigation, a report was made with the offense of criminal mischief between $100 and $750. The report stated a blunt object was used as a weapon.
3/5/2023 – 1100 block of Avenue N
An officer responded to the 1100 block of Avenue N in reference to an accident. A report was later generated with two offenses: an accident involving damage to a vehicle more than $200 and possession of a penalty group one substance between one and four grams.

An officer responded to the location regarding a verbal disturbance between a mother and son. A report for assault threat or offensive touch and simple assault was generated. The report described this as a domestic fight.
3/4/2023 - 200 block of West Avenue
An officer conducted a traffic stop at the location for speeding. The report states the driver was traveling at 38 mph in a 30 mph zone. The vehicle stopped in the 1500 block of W Highway 114 and an arrest was made for the criminal offense of driving with an invalid license with previous conviction/suspensions without financial responsibility.
