Officers executed a felony warrant service on the 1600 block of Houston Street at 3:40 p.m. The report states the wanted individual was taken into custody without incident for an active parole violation warrant.
5/24/2023 – 400 block of East Jackson Street
An officer was dispatched to the 400 block of East Jackson Street in reference to a theft at 7:03 p.m. The report states the theft was approximately $2,100.
6/24/2023 – 1300 block of Avenue H
An officer observed an active possession of marijuana between four ounces and five pounds for Rikardo Chavez at 5:47 p.m. The warrant was served in the Hockley County Jail.
6/21/2023 – 1300 block of Avenue H
An officer responded to the Law Enforcement Center at 11:50 p.m. regarding a missing person. After conducting a field investigation, a report was generated.
6/21/2023 – 1800 block of 10th Street
An officer responded to the 1800 block of 10th Street at 9:27 p.m. regarding a domestic fight. A report for assault or family violence was later generated.
6/21/2023 – 1300 block of Avenue H
An officer was dispatched to a phone message on the 1300 block of Avenue H at 12:38 a.m. A report for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon was generated with one suspect at this time.
6/20/2023 – 1500 block of 10th Street
An officer responded to the 1500 block of 10th Street at 7:47 p.m. regarding criminal mischief. A report was generated for criminal mischief between $100 and $750 with one suspect at the time.
6/19/2023 – 600 block of Austin Street
An officer responded to the 600 block of Austin Street at 10:04 p.m. regarding an assault. An arrest was later made of an individual for aggravated assault of a date, family or household member with a deadly weapon, obstruction or retaliation and terroristic threat to a family or household member.
6/19/2023 200 block of Hicks Place
An officer responded to the 200 block of Hicks Place at the request of the Lubbock Police Department at 1:56 p.m. A warrant service was completed at the location for a parole violation warrant.
6/18/2023 – 800 block of Avenue C
An officer conducted a traffic stop at 8:40 p.m. on the 800 block of Avenue C. After conducting a field investigation, a male was arrested and booked into the Hockley County Jail for possession of a controlled substance less than one gram in penalty group one and driving with an invalid license with previous conviction.
6/18/2023 – 1500 block of Austin Street
An officer responded to the 1500 block of Austin Street at approximately 10:32 p.m. regarding an individual having a seizure. After completing a field investigation, a report was generated for injury to a child, elderly or disabled individual and aggravated assault causing serious bodily injury.
6/18/2023 – 1600 block of Austin Street
An officer was dispatched to the 1600 block of Austin Street at 10:51 p.m. in reference to a domestic fight. After completing a field investigation, a male individual was arrested for assault causing bodily injury to a family member with previous conviction.
6/18/2023 – 500 block of South College Avenue
An officer observed a silver vehicle traveling North on the 500 block of South College Avenue at approximately 4:04 a.m. with a defective tail lamp. The officer conducted a traffic stop in the United parking lot which resulted in a male individual being arrested and transported to the Hockley County Jail for driving while intoxicated MA.
6/16/2023 – 900 block of Avenue B
An officer conducted a warrant service on the 900 block of Avenue B at 12:02 p.m. The contact resulted in a warrant arrest.
6/15/2023 – 1800 block of 9th Street
An officer was dispatched to the 1800 block of 9th Street at 8:40 p.m. to assist the Hockley County Deputies. A report for assault or family violence and aggravated assault to a date, family or household with a deadly weapon was generated with three suspects at the time.
